Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy is still upon us on the eastern seaboard and it's starting to get very rough.  I personally enjoy storms like this but I am aware of the fear it brings to people.  We lost power for a couple hours but have already gotten it restored after a short two hours.  For people that are worried, clearly stay indoors and have candles and/or flashlights ready.  For living on the east coast, everyone should have some sort of emergency supplies at their disposal at all times.  I hope this is true for everyone in the path of the storm.  I'm from CT and I have to say that I am mighty impressed with the preparation the state has taken leading up to and throughout the early part of the storm.  The Governor has shut down the highways as of 1 p.m. today and has electrical workers on standby in every town waiting to be called to action.  All in all, this storm hasn't been that bad as of yet, but I'm being told the worst is yet to come.
